Wimbledon is a locality in Tararua District, New Zealand. Cape Turnagain is a prominent headland on the east coast of New Zealand 's North Island, part way between Hawke Bay and Cook Strait, between the The Waikopiro Stream runs into the Wainui River at Wimbledon. Wimbledon has a war memorial and once had a school,[3] but now consists of a few houses and a tavern. [4]
