Tilba Tilba is a town in Eurobodalla Shire, New South Wales, Australia. Eurobodalla Shire is a Local Government Area in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Indigenous Australians are descendants of the first known human inhabitants of the Australian continent and its nearby islands. Tilba is said to mean wind in the Yuin language. Wind is the flow of Air or other Gases that compose an Atmosphere (including but not limited to the Earth's) [1] Others have said the word is a Thawa Aboriginal term for 'many waters'. Central Tilba is a village about 2 kilometres north north east of Tilba Tilba. [2] The entire village is classified by the National Trust as the Central Tilba Conservation Area.
