Biography

Much of Phillips' British work has yet to be collected in book form, but he is best known for his work as the co-creator of Devlin Waugh for the Judge Dredd Megazine and Straitgate in Crisis (both of which were written by John Smith). Devlin Waugh (a play on Evelyn Waugh) is a fictional character who has appeared regularly in 2000 AD and in the Judge Dredd Megazine Judge Dredd Megazine is a monthly British Comic magazine, launched in October 1990. A crisis (plural crises may occur on a personal or societal level John Smith is a British Comics writer best known for his work on 2000 AD and Crisis.
