Biography
Early life
Rockwell was born in Daly City, California, the son of actors who divorced when he was 5 years old. Daly City is a city in San Mateo County, California, United States with a 2000 population of 103621 [1] He was raised by his father, Pete Rockwell, in San Francisco while his mother, Penny Hess, stayed behind in New York (he spent his summer vacations with her). The City and County of San Francisco is the fourth most populous city New York ( is a state in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern regions of the United States and is the nation's third most populous Rockwell had what The New York Times described in 1998 as a "footloose upbringing" and, at age 10, made his brief stage debut playing Humphrey Bogart in an East Village improv comedy sketch starring his mother.
