He is now the drummer for The Vernacular, a band featuring Chris Walla of Death Cab for Cutie and Sean Nelson of Harvey Danger. Christopher Walla is the Guitarist and producer for the band Death Cab for Cutie. Death Cab for Cutie is an American Indie rock band formed in Bellingham, Sean Nelson (born June 12, 1973) is an American Singer, Songwriter, and Keyboardist, notable as the frontman for Harvey Danger is a rock band that formed in Seattle, Washington in 1992 and rose to prominence in 1998 with the single " He currently teaches English at Pinole Valley High School while he writes poetry.


Background


Began as a young drummer playing in his parents basement. Like all drummers his drumming would annoy his parents while they watched tv upstairs. Skipping a few years, he became acquainted with Chris Walla of Death Cab and decided to make a band. They began playing shows in the smaller metropolitan area of Seattle. When he quit he had no idea that the band would gain such popularity but still he does not regret the decision of leaving to get married.
