Kurigalzu is the name of at least two kings in the Kassite Dynasty of Babylonia. The Kassites were an Ancient Near Eastern tribe who gained control of Babylonia after the fall of the Old Babylonian Empire after ca Babylonia was an Amorite state in lower Mesopotamia (modern southern Iraq) with Babylon as its capital They ruled in the fourteenth century BC.
