Harry Tutunjian is the mayor of Troy, New York. Troy ( Greek: grc Τροία Troia, also, Ilion; Latin: Trōia, Īlium, Hittite: Wilusa or New York ( is a state in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern regions of the United States and is the nation's third most populous Troy is a City in New York, US, and the County seat of Rensselaer County. He was elected in 2003, and re-elected in 2007. His term will end in 2012, when he cannot seek re-election due to term limits.
He holds a degree from Hudson Valley Community College. Hudson Valley Community College, a SUNY associated two-year college is located in Troy in Rensselaer County New York.
Tutunjian was elected to represent Troy's 3rd city council district in 1999. In 2001, he ran at-large, and was elected with the most votes, making him council president.
