Latortue was the head of the observer mission of La Francophonie in Togo for that country's October 2007 parliamentary election. La Francophonie is an international organisation of French-speaking countries and governments and in French, the community of French-speaking peoples TOGO was a Japanese roller coaster design company famous for inventing the Stand-up roller coaster. A parliamentary election was held in Togo on October 14 2007 for the 81 seats in the National Assembly. [1][2]
