Durham College and has a shared campus and facilities with the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. The University of Ontario Institute of Technology ( UOIT) is located in Oshawa Ontario and shares its campus with Durham College. The college, in conjunction with UOIT and private enterprise, has developed network infrastructure to support laptop-based learning at both institutions. Durham College's Animation Program

The animation program prides itself on being the most intensive digital animation program from Character Animation, 3D modeling, foundations in fine arts, communications and filmmaking, to the knowledge of the business and production processes in commercial entertainment and games studios. The program was developed with the input of artists, 2d and 3d animators, and production wizards. It affords the opportunity to those passionate about a career in computer animation to fully explore all of the venues available to them in advertising, film, animation and game studios. Grads have worked on Harry Potter, Ruby Gloom, Backyardagans and many other productions.
