Dale Hansen was born in Wisner, Nebraska. Wisner is a city in Cuming County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 1270 at the 2000 census. While attending the schools of Cuming County, he helped out on the family farm, and after graduating from high school in Wisner in 1940, he worked full-time on the farm.
