Feeds

Both feeds are almost the same, with very little difference. The major difference is that the international feed does not screen some programmes shown on the Singapore feed such as short Singapore news updates, the nightly Singapore business news bulletin - Singapore Business Tonight - as well as 20/20. 20/20 is an American television Newsmagazine broadcast on ABC since June 6, 1978. In addition, the Singapore feed features commercials intended for the local audience. Ticker content also differs across both feeds.

New Look

Channel NewsAsia revamped the look of both feeds to a more contemporary feel. New hard studios were designed, replacing the virtual studios used in the past. A simpler, more unified overall theme during news programmes was also incorporated. The changes were introduced on July 17, 2006. Events 180 - Twelve inhabitants of Scillium in North Africa are executed for being Christians Year 2006 ( MMVI) was a Common year starting on Sunday of the Gregorian calendar.
